About Float
Float was founded in Copenhagen by Jens and Victor with a shared frustration: no one actually understands their home — and especially not their electricity bill.
We started asking: "Why is something as essential as energy still opaque, old, and built around monthly PDFs?"
What began as a deep technical challenge — teaching AI to understand a home's electricity consumption in real time from a single smart meter — became the foundation for something bigger. We built our own hardware. We built our own AI models. And we built the systems required to operate at the forefront of the energy market.
Today, Float is a fully licensed energy provider.
We combine proprietary technology with agentic AI to give homeowners real-time, appliance-level insight into their electricity use — while automating everything behind the scenes, from onboarding to billing to interactions.
Our mission is simple: bring radical transparency, intelligence, and trust to energy.
