Full-Stack Engineer

At Float, we are on a mission to build the world's first Agentic Home Platform, starting with the first Agentic Consumer Energy Company — because energy is fundamental to homes.

The Role

You'll work across the entire product:

• Customer-facing app (real-time energy insights, billing, notifications)
• Internal ops systems (onboarding, compliance, energy data flows)
• APIs and backend services powering our AI-driven platform
• Integrations with national energy infrastructure (DataHub, BRP, etc.)
• Agentic workflows that automate what traditional utilities run with staff and call centers

You will ship real features to real users — fast.

What We're Looking For

You:

• Have 3–8+ years of experience building production systems
• Are strong in both frontend and backend
• Care about clean architecture and performance
• Like ownership and responsibility
• Thrive in small, fast-moving teams

Typical stack experience could include:

• TypeScript / Node.js
• React / Next.js
• Python (bonus)
• PostgreSQL
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• API design (REST/GraphQL)

You don't need all of this — but you need to be able to learn fast.
